Hornton Grange |Birmingham
Stuart & Laura’s wedding took place in December at St Francis church in Bournville ( next to cadbury world !) followed by a reception at hornton grange.
The day started with the bridal preps at Laura’s parents home about 5 minuets from the church, this is always a good opportunity to get those detail shots of the brides dress, shoes, flowers and perfume.
from here it was onto the church to meet the groom and his ushers. The day itself albeit on the chilly side was a nice bright day.
After the service whilst we were doing the family groups mince pies and drinks were available for the guest.
Finally a warm welcome awaited Stuart & Laura at Hornton Grange
Once again guys thanks for having me,best wishes for the future may you have a long and happy life together.

I have added another portrait session from a recent shoot, although my white background is still the most popular I wanted to try a different colour for some of these. I recently purchased another four backdrops from my supplier so watch this space I will be blogging more photos soon.
This year is promising to be another busy one, I have had so many later wedding bookings this year and January has been really busy at the studio.
More information on portraits and pricing can be found on the web site.
I have also added photos and information to my Face book site …. please feel free to follow.

Time for something a little different from my normal blog posts, I don’t normally blog portrait work but this year I have decided to change that and start adding some images from my portrait shoots.
Starting the year off with some shots from a recent studio session with Helen. These are selection of photos for a dance folio required for submission to colleges.
Helen decided three or four different looks were needed for this along with head shots and full length. She had a clear idea of what she needed and this is a great help to me when trying to give a client the right kind of images.
As always here are a few faves…

Last year I had the pleasure of photographing Regan & Adams wedding at the Moathouse in Acton trussell, a very popular local venue.
To say they were easy to photograph is an understatement, they were very clear on the type of photographs they wanted and the big plus for me was they gave me the time to do everything they requested.
After all the years as a wedding photographer I still get a huge buzz when I get another booking I feel extremely blessed to be doing a job I love and love every minuet of what i do.
Thanks for using Stephen Sutton photography for your special day, and best wishes for a long and happy life together.
