Will & Torz Wedding

To say i was thrilled when Will and Torz booked me to be their wedding photographer at Aston Marina would be an understatement. I love this venue and these guys were so lovely it was a please to document their wedding.

This year i have been lucky enough to photograph a good number of weddings at Aston Marina, I like the fact it has lots of natural light so great if we need to work inside and the rear of the venue is surrounded by a lovely decked area with plenty of comfy seating for all your guests.

The gardens and terraced area are also close to the main venue, so the couple are never far away from their guests or the bar 🙂

Torz had her bridal preparations at home, se we headed over to the house in the morning for an hour to document some of the preps.

I met Will and the groomsmen and Aston marina around an hour prior to the service to capture a few images of them before the bridesmaids and bride arrived. Shortly after this Torz arrived looking amazing and headed into the venue.

After the service the wedding party made their way outside for the drinks reception and a few family photo’s, followed by some selected photographs of the couple.Back inside for the speeches and wedding breakfast, then James Barlow took them into the evening with some fabulous entertainment.

A brilliant day all round so here is a small preview of images from Torz and Will’s special day.

Festival Themed Wedding at Trevor hall

Well as another busy wedding season starts to draw to a close, I wanted to revisit some weddings that I simply haven’t had time to blog yet. This one I’ve been meaning to share for months, a fantastic festival themed wedding at Trevor hall in Llangollen. I have photographed so many weddings over the past few years that Jessica and Ant have attended and Jessica has also been a bridesmaid at number of these weddings, so when they asked me to photograph their wedding I was over the moon.

This was at a venue I haven’t previously visited, but I did pop over midweek to have a recce a few months prior to the main event.

Unique wedding venue

Trevor Hall really is a unique wedding venue, This grade 1 listed building can be hired for 5 days from a Wednesday to Monday, making your wedding even more special. Jessica and Ant went for a festival themed wedding with food vans and live music, along with lawn games. The weather was fantastic and it really was a pleasure to photograph something so different, really relaxed, informal and fun.

Each bedroom is themed, crammed full of artefacts from all over the world and various family and pop memorabilia line the walls, as the current owner and her late husband were tour agents for bands such as The Prodigy, Boyzone, Nirvana and many others.
