For me, wedding photography is not just about taking pictures on your wedding day. With over 20 years’ experience working throughout Staffordshire as a professional wedding photographer, I never underestimate the importance of getting to know you before the big day. .
The last thing any Bride or Groom wants on their wedding day is a complete stranger bossing them around and pointing an unwelcome camera in their faces. I take the time to get to know you both before your wedding; that way, you’re relaxed. We’ll have discussed what photographs you’d like well in advance of the day and will have put a loose plan together of how we’re going to accomplish getting all those beautiful images without anyone feeling stressed (or tired of smiling!) .
I’m inspired by you. I want to tell your story. Your wedding photography shouldn’t just be a collection of neat clips from your day, it should capture the essence of your day. The images should convey emotion, make you smile and bring a tear to your eye. They should help you appreciate the little details you might have missed , the look of pride on a father’s face, a bridesmaid’s laugh or a shared smile. .

This incredible couple tied the knot at the stunning Moat House, and what a day it was! Guests traveled from near and far to celebrate the big day with them, creating an unforgettable atmosphere filled with love and laughter, oh and plenty of drinking. 💍
The day was topped off with some amazing entertainment – a lively Ceilidh band that had everyone on their feet, plus the brilliant vibes brought by TCK Entertainment. . 💃🕺🎶

🌫️📸 As photographers, we learn to embrace all kinds of weather—wind, rain, snow, full sun, and even the occasional foggy surprise! 🌦️ Each condition brings its own challenges and opportunities, but that’s where the magic happens.
Here’s a shot from Barton Marina waterfront. When I arrived, I couldn’t believe the thick fog that had rolled in. At first, it seemed like a hurdle, but it turned out to be the perfect element to create a moody, atmospheric scene. Sometimes, nature’s unpredictability is exactly what makes a photo unforgettable!

🍁✨ Capturing Mara and Ash’s incredible autumn wedding at @westonhall1 in Stafford was nothing short of magical! 🍂 The vibrant Autumn colours made for a perfect backdrop and the weather held up for us so we could get outdoors for a few couple portraits.
Having worked with this wonderful couple before—first with family portraits in my studio and then an unforgettable superhero shoot for their kids—it felt like reconnecting with friends and made the day even more special to document. ❤️
